Finally after a long wait, MMS (Multimedia messaging service) feature has now been made available to iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS users by AT&T network. With the introduction of this MMS service AT&T 3G iPhone owners can now quickly send pictures and videos to their friends, just like they send text messages.

How to enable/activate MMS on iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS? To enable AT&T MMS on your iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS you require carrier settings update and iPhone OS 3.1. So to update your iPhone to the latest iPhone OS and carrier settings head over to the detailed Apple support page for iPhone MMS activation.
iPhone MMS service is available with the standard text messaging plan from AT&T. 200 messages per month for $5, 1,500 messages per month for $15 or $20 for unlimited messages.
Note: The iPhone MMS service is not available for the first generation iPhone.
