Facebook has unveiled another homepage redesign. It has not been made public to all the facebook users yet, but soon it will be launched to all in the near future. The portion of facebook homepage that is almost untouched in this redesign is the right sidebar. You won’t observe any changes in the right sidebar, neither on facebook homepage nor on any other facebook pages.
Major Changes in Facebook Redesign:
The major changes in this redesign are in the left sidebar and bottom navigation. All in the links in the left portion of the bottom navigation has been shifted now to the left sidebar.
1: Icons next to facebook logo: There are icons just next to facebook logo for friend requests, notifications, and messages which will light up when there’s something new you won’t want to miss. A bigger search bar just next to icons is also present to help you find easily whatever you are looking for.
2: Facebook Applications & Games in Right sidebar: All your bookmarked facebook applications and games are now accessible from the right sidebar which were earlier accessible from the bottom left navigation.
3: Facebook Chat in left sidebar: New facebook homepage design allows you to access the facebook chat from the left sidebar.
This is really great as you don’t have to stare anymore at the bottom right navigation to track your online friends.
