Google Goggles is a visual search application for android phones that makes searching extremely easy for android phone users. All you need to do is to open the app and capture a photo (fill as much screen as possible with the object) of the thing that’s unknown to you with the phones camera.
The image will then be processed by Google and you will be returned quite accurate and relevant results.
Though Google itself said that this image search is not perfect yet but still it provides great results for images of books, artwork, places, business cards, logos and landmarks. To get this app on you android phone go to Android market from your phone and search for Google Goggles.
This app is available on phones that run Android 1.6+. To see which version of Android you’re running, go to Settings > About phone > Firmware version
