I would suggest you to take it to the shop from where it was bought because for an invalid IMEI the seller would surely replace it. 
Have you checked its validity from the numbering plans website? What it says for it?</description>

When checking IMEI always cross check the details like &quot;Type Allocation Holder&quot; and &quot;Mobile Equipment Type&quot; etc. So for instance if you&#039;re using a Nokia mobile then &quot;Type Allocation holder&quot; should be Nokia.
