Just like yahoo messenger and Gtalk, facebook is also having a cool IM that needs no download no installation at all for its use. Its a great tool to communicate with your online facebook buddies. By default this facebook IM is placed in the right corner at the bottom of the facebook page but you can place this facebook chat/IM in your firefox sidebar for easy access.
So if you are a firefox user just follow these simple steps to get it done.
1: Go to “Bookmarks” in your firefox browser and then click on “organize bookmarks”. Now Create a “New bookmark”
2: After creating a new bookmark fill up the entries as mentioned below.
Name: Facebook Chat
Location: http://www.facebook.com/presence/popout.php
Don’t forget to check “Load this bookmark in the sidebar”.
3: It’s all done now, just go to Bookmarks and click on the bookmark named “Facebook chat” that you’ve created above.
