iType is a full size QWERTY keyboard for iPhone and iPod Touch that converts your iPhone or iPod touch into an ultra-portable computer. iType was introduced at this year’s CES by ION Audio, a company well known for its USB turntables.

How ION iType works: Well iType actually contains a slot in which the iPhone is placed. Once the iPhone is placed in that slot you would have to open up the iPhone iType app to start typing. The text you type can then be copied to paste in any application.
ION iType Features:
1: Most of the iPhone users, who have not jailbroken their iPhone badly miss QWERTY keypad, if you’re on the list too then you may go for iType.
2: It operates with the power from its inbuilt battery which can even charge your iPhone too.
3: Allow easy and fast text input to your iPhone.
iType is may arrive in the market in the second quarter of 2010 at the price tag of slightly greater than $100.
