The term Mobile broadband is used to describe different types of wireless high speed internet access through PC data cards, USB modems, USB sticks etc. In mobile broadband, several network standards like GPRS, 3G, WiMAX, LTE UMTS/HSPA are used to access the internet.

To realise the potential of Mobile broadband just imagine a simple case that you are at some place in between your home and office and there is no Hotspot to make use of Wi-Fi feature of your PC. Then what you would do to surf the web? Well situations like this are the one where the mobile broadband feature comes in very handy.

To access internet with mobile broadband, all you need to do is to make sure that the cellphone signal coming to your mobile phone.

My personal experience says that Mobile broadband is really a life saver when it comes to accessing the internet from places where there is no sign of internet at all. With mobile broadband you just don’t need to worry about the net connectivity at any place.

Mobile broadband advantages:

1: It doesn’t matter where you are, you can always surf the web as long as your mobile phone is receiving network signals.

2: Prices for surfing the web is almost same as that in the case of DSL, but mobile broadband offers you the great flexibility as well.

3: You can access the net on your PC with mobile broadband by using Bluetooth dongle, USB data cable, modem router, etc

4:  You need not to look for hotspot as in the case of Wi-Fi internet.
