Nokia Out Now With It’s First Ever Touchscreen Phone

Well if you have not found Apple’s Iphone and T-Mobile’s G1 upto your satisfaction or if you are looking for a change, then you should give a try to Nokia’s first ever touch screen phone Nokia 5800 XpressMusic code-named “Tube”. Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is expected to greatly challange Apple’s Iphone and its iTunes service. Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is having 8GB of memory.

Nokia has also announced the Comes With Music service which allows one to download, listen to, and keep as many songs as you want over a full year period for free i.e the price for doing all this is included in the phone price. Universal Music Group, EMI Music, Warner Music Group, and Sony BMG; these are the major record labels with which Nokia has signed it’s Comes With Music service . Many independent labels would also be supported by this service.

Nokia 5800 XpressMusic offers a 640×360 screen resolution , which is far more better than iPhone’s 480×320 screen resolution. It is having 3.2 megapixels camera with carl zeiss optics, along with video recording function and flash. It is utilising 5th edition of the Symbian Series 60 operating system and it is equipped with maps and satellite navigation, 3G and Wi-Fi. Without any taxes or subsidies Nokia 5800 XpressMusic will cost $391.

– 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus
– Quad band (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) GSM/EDGE radio, 3G UMTS/HSDP

– 3.5mm headphone jack
– TV out port
– 140MB on-board storage

It’s really Needless to say that the release of Nokia 5800 XpressMusic would add more excitement in the battle going on among the smartphones from Apple and Google.

Hello. If I’m not wrong and I still using. The first touchscreen NOKIA phone is Nokia 7710.

Yes that was the case, but functionality wise Nokia 5800 is a first complete touchscreen phone, and that too in response of Apple’s iPhone.
