Dual View is a great Alternative to switching between tabs when you are comparing two sites, products side by side. With dual view you can split your javascript enabled browser in two panes. To enable this feature in your browser just drag and drop this link Dual View in your bookmarks toolbar.

Now whenever this bookmarklet will be clicked, a pop up will appear and it will prompt you to enter two URL’s, the first URL that you will give will open in the left pane and the second one will open in the right pane. Dual view works with all the javascript enabled browsers like Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, Chrome, Safari, etc.
